I have earlier known about Patreon, Flattr, and similar sites, but not explored the content available on them enough. Today, I also found ‘Model View Culture’
We pay contributors, and we are 100% reader supported – we don’t have any angel or venture capital investment, and we don’t take money from corporations. This allows us to maintain an independent editorial perspective and publish things that you won’t see in any other tech press.
I really like being able to directly support artists whose work I like. I mentioned Justin Hall in my last entry here, and Model View Culture is another concept that I would like to support.
